Dear Neighbor,
We hope you are able to attend a video conference meeting to discuss a Site Development Plan for a proposed six dwelling unit project, on the vacant land north of the northeast corner of the Fifth and Fronts Streets intersection. The project would include two triplexes. A triplex is one building with three dwelling units similar to a townhouse. We are looking for your input before we begin the review process with Town staff. Please see the instructions below on how to join the meeting and to participate in the discussion. If you are unable to attend this first neighborhood meeting, but would like to submit written comments, please send them to Tyler Casebier, developer and applicant, or Julie Kirkpatrick, Town of Castle Rock, at the addresses listed below by Dec. 2 to allow time for potential responses at the neighborhood meeting.

A public hearing is required before the Town’s Historic Preservation Board, which has not yet been scheduled. The purpose of this meeting is to allow the applicant an opportunity to present the proposed project, gather feedback, and address any questions you may have. The applicant and a Town planner will attend this meeting to answer questions about this proposal and about the Municipal Code requirements and public hearing process for this Site Development Plan.

Project Information:
Total Development Corporation is proposing to construct six residential dwelling units within two triplex buildings. Each unit would contain two bedrooms and 1 ½ baths. The project also includes 14 parking spaces, six of which would be covered by a canopy. Please see the attachments for more details. While the attachments show three duplex units, the applicant is proposing two buildings containing three units per building for a total of six units.

Due to recommended COVID precautions and social distancing requirements, this will be a virtual meeting, held remotely. If you are unable to attend this meeting, yet have questions or comments about this project, please contact Tyler Casebier, Total Development Corporation, (the applicant) at the contact information below, by Dec. 2.

A project presentation will be made by the developer, followed by an opportunity for questions and answers from the audience. In order to keep the meeting running smoothly, the following ground rules will be observed.

  • All participants should have their video/audio turned off upon entry to the meeting
  • Panelists, including developer and Town staff, will have video/audio available in order to make the presentation and answer questions
  • Questions will be held until the end of the initial presentation by the developer
  • Please be aware that there may be many attendees wanting to speak, so try to keep your comments focused and concise so that as many people as possible can participate during the limited meeting time period
  • Please be aware that the meeting may be recorded to ensure an accurate record of comments and questions about the project
