Neighborhood Meeting - Proposed Rezoning for Sanders Business Park at Castle Rock - VIRTUAL MEETING
Virtual Neighborhood Meeting: Nov. 30, 2020, 5:30 – 6:30 p.m.
You are cordially invited to a virtual neighborhood meeting regarding a proposed rezoning in your area. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, this meeting represents the third required neighborhood meeting, following the second neighborhood meeting of Sept. 28, 2020, and will take place at 5:30 p.m. Monday, Nov. 30, 2020 via a WebEx Meeting. This notice is going to all landowners within 500’ of the project site.
Intergroup Architects is working with GT Sanders on the development of their new showroom/warehouse building at 1004 S. Interstate 25, Castle Rock, CO. In order to develop the new showroom the property is required to be rezoned to a Planned Development. The Planned Development has completed Town staff review. The purpose of the neighborhood meeting is to present the Planned Development that will be presented to Planning Commission and Town Council.
The current zoning for the 11.9-acre site is R-1. The request is to change the R-1 Zone to Planned Development (PD). Possible uses that are proposed in the Planned Development are: commercial warehouse and logistics, light industrial, wholesale, manufacturing, processing and fabrication, retail, indoor recreation facilities, and personal service shops. GT Sanders intend to develop their new showroom/warehouse building on approximately 2.6 acres of the property with future development of the remaining property not identified at this time.

Virtual Meeting Participation Process
The project presentation will be made by the Developer and Architect, followed by an opportunity for questions and answers from the audience. In order to keep the meeting running smoothly, the following ground rules will be observed
