Your Town Council meets Tuesday, Feb. 5. View the full agenda online

Town Council will be receiving an update Tuesday on the Town’s residential unit data through December 2018. The data outlines the maximum zoning entitlements and growth areas approved by Council and provides an update on the pace of activity in each area of Town. The current estimate shows Castle Rock’s population at approximately 68,700.

Here are a few other things on Tuesday’s agenda:
  • Resolution approving the Site Development Plan for a new Terrain residential neighborhood – Town Council will consider a proposal for a new development near State Highway 86 and North Ridge Road. The more than 56-acre development would include 261 single-family homes – both detached and attached. The proposal also includes open space, a pocket park and a trail system.

  • Resolution approving a construction contract for an addition to the Town’s Public Works Service Center – Town Council will consider a contract with Mark Young Construction Inc. for the construction of the Public Works Service Center addition/renovation. This long-planned project will add additional office space to the Service Center at 4175 N. Castleton Court. Additionally, the project includes the renovation of existing office spaces, to eliminate the need for trailers, and will provide more space for maintaining the vehicles that help the Town deliver services to the community. The $4.2 million project is being paid for with development impact fees.
