Hello Learn to Swim Families!
As a past participant in our Learn to Swim program, we wanted you to be the first to hear about some exciting changes we have made to our program.
As an instructional program, it is important to make sure participants are provided an opportunity to grow and develop their skills. We have noticed that our former structure of short, four-week sessions, ended just as our swimmers were starting to show progress. We also found through parent feedback, the short sessions created stress on our parents who were worried about what level to enroll in next. We believe we have found a solution that will work for a majority of our participants and allow students to grow and progress with fewer interruptions to their process.
Starting this September, our Learn to Swim series will be twice as long. For example, a session that previously held four lessons will now have eight. Also, starting in October there will be a priority registration period for those participants who have a current enrollment in the program who wish to continue into the immediately following series.
Register online starting Aug. 15 at CRgov.com/registration, or call the Learn to Swim Coordinator, Sue Parks at 720-733-4485.
We kindly request you do not double-register your child in order to get the class you desire. A 10 percent cancellation fee will be assessed on cancellations that are requested prior to three days from the beginning of the series. After this date, refunds will not be available. Additionally, lessons cannot be prorated.
Still have questions?
We will be on hand for a Q&A and Meet and Greet from 6 to 7 p.m., Wednesday, Aug. 23 at the MAC. Please feel free to stop by with any questions you may have. We will also have instructors on hand if you would like help finding the best level for your swimmer.
