Castle Rock Water has a strong maintenance program to keep aging infrastructure updated. The Fair Street storm sewer has reached the end of its useful life and is in need of replacement. Castle Rock Water will be replacing the existing corrugated metal pipe with new reinforced concrete pipe. Additionally, three new manholes, an outlet structure and an asphalt patch for the emergency pipe repair will also be put in place. The new pipe will be located in the center of Fair Street. The street will be replaced to its current condition.
October 2020 - December 2020
Closure of Fair Street will occur during the project, but access to local businesses will remain open.
53 Corporation has been awarded the contract at a project cost of $170,000.
