Wolfensberger Roundabout

The Town of Castle Rock is always evaluating ways to increase safety and efficiency at intersections throughout Castle Rock.

The intersection of Wolfensberger Road / Coachline Road / Plum Creek Parkway is now functioning as a roundabout. However, construction is not complete. As traffic volumes increased, the Town has researched and evaluated new traffic control for the intersection. To increase safety and efficiency at this intersection, the Town has called for a two-lane roundabout.

Construction schedule

Construction was put on hold for the winter season, but will begin again in early spring. Of course, weather could impact these plans.

The total cost of this project is budgeted for $2.1 million, which will come from growth-related revenues of impact fees and building use tax.
